Transmitters
Aitken & Partners are the designers of the PulsePower series of AM radio transmitters. The low power version of these transmitters (up to 125 W) is in use in most of the road tunnels in Australia.
Transmitter Combiners
Aitken & Partners understand transmitter combiners. We have designed the transmitter combiners used in the Sydney Eastern Distributor, the Melbourne Burnley Tunnel, the Perth Tunnel, the Cross City tunnel system and the M5. Each of our AM combiners accommodates ten to twelve transmitters; covering the main licensed broadcasters in the city. If you need to combine transmitters onto a single antenna or feeder, talk to us. Antenna Systems
Your AM radio antenna is critically important – a poor antenna means poor coverage and low income. We know how to design and build antennas that will give you the best value for money. Spend the money where it really matters – on the antenna that gets your program into the air!
Is Lightning a Problem?
If lightning is a problem at your station, please talk to us. We can provide a comprehensive solution. We have given lightning protection advice for many sites, including ABC, narrowcast and commercial stations. Lightning protection doesn’t have to be expensive, just effective.
