Aitken & Partners have experience in many rail systems. The vast majority of our experience has been in train radio and railway telecommunication systems. We have also worked on CCTV, emergency telephone, help phone, vital signalling communications, non-vital signalling communications and passenger information sytsems.
Train radio systems across Australia have been designed, specified, supervised and tested by Aitken & Partners. John Aitken was the instigator of the original Railways of Australia radio frequency channel allocations and is the author of AS7660, the standard for train control radio communications.
